Jace and I met while working at Farm and Fleet. He was such a good co-worker turned friend. I started to have a very big crush on him. We would hang out, sometimes just us or our friend Kirshon would join us for walks. It was late May, I invited Jace to come to my great grandma's birthday. I didn't expect him to be excited for it but he happily said yes to coming. After a few beers, we were sitting on the pool dock and he asked me to be his girlfriend. I immediately said yes, I thought you'd never ask.

My ring is so very special to me, it was a gift from my grandma. A little context my grandma and I share a birthday of June 23rd. So I've always felt we have a very special connection. On my 16th birthday, she gifted me the ring that her dad gifted her on her 16th birthday. I completely fell in love with the ring. I knew that it would be the most special ring I'd ever have. I gave the ring to my mom to keep safe. Jace had to go and ask my parents for the ring when he was ready to propose.
