We met in a way that felt destined, but also full of courage and hope. It all started on a Christian dating app, where we were both searching for something real. The connection was instant. But what made our story unique wasnt just the app—it was the leap of faith we both took in meeting each other in person.

Our first meeting was on March 17th, the day after his birthday. We both remember feeling a mix of excitement and nervousness, so she decided to bake him a birthday cake. It felt like a small but meaningful way to mark the occasion. We didn’t know it at the time, but that cake would be the first of many moments where we’d share the simple joys of life together.

What really struck her was his bravery. He didn’t just meet her—he met her whole family. On that first day, he walked into her church, surrounded by all these people who were so important to her. And he didn’t shy away from it. She was blown away by how comfortable and confident he was, even though they were still getting to know each other.
