Being in the same friend group for years, Gabby and Matt crossed paths many times. If you get Matt alone, he'll tell you a story about how in 2015 Gabby asked him to kiss her. Spoiler alert... he said no. A couple of years and many more group outings later, Gabby and Matt began to form their own friendship. They would text everyday about work, music, and just about everything else. This friendship continued to evolve into drinking peanut butter and vanilla milkshakes, Tuesday bowling, watching cheesy horror movies, and much more. Both Matt and Gabby were extremely reluctant to ruin this friendship, but there was no denying there was mutual attraction there. They finally decided to take the leap, and began dating on January 31, 2018.

Over the 5+ years Matt and Gabby (or should I say Mabby?) have been together, their relationship has had many twists, turns, ups, and downs! Whether they are enjoying a home cooked meal and binging Netflix, going to a club together to watch Matt's favorite DJ in Vegas, or checking out a new restaurant for Gabby's food Instagram locally, they are each others go to, partner in crime, and truly... each other's best friend. In 2020 not only did they survive the world shutting down, but they moved into their first home together in Rye Brook. From there, the rest was history, and in January 2023 Matt pulled off the most beautiful proposal and asked Gabby to spend forever with him.
