OUR STORY

Our story began in the summer of 2017 during a college finance course at UTSA. After the final exam, a group of friends gathered at a local bar, The Block, to recap the semester. It was there that we first met, effortlessly talking about life, our current jobs, and future plans. With one year between us—Kris in his junior year and me in my senior year—we continued on our individual paths, focused on finishing college strong.

Fast forward to April 2019, with college behind us, life brought an unexpected twist. Unbeknownst to us, our first jobs out of college were down the street from each other—me working in HR and Kris as an IT Recruiter. It didn’t take long for our paths to cross again. Realizing how close we worked to one another, we decided to meet up for drinks and catch up on life outside of college.. But little did we know that a casual happy hour as friends would grow into a connection that would change our lives forever.

Over the past five years, we’ve shared countless laughs, had heartfelt conversations about life and family, and created unforgettable memories traveling. We’ve cheered loudly at football games as proud Roadrunner alumni, celebrated personal and professional accomplishments, and created a life filled with laughter, love, and unwavering support. But most importantly, we've built a home with our fur babies, Zoey, Odie, and Woodrow, making our family and hearts feel complete.

As we prepare to embark on the next chapter of our lives, we can’t help but reflect on how grateful we are for God’s plan and timing. If we hadn’t met in the summer of 2017, who knows where we’d be today..

With that being said, we are beyond excited to celebrate this special day with our closest friends and family.
