Scott and Gabby met the first week of freshman year at Hobart and William Smith Colleges. They met at a party in "The Cave", a dorm room that basically took up the entire basement of Sherrill Hall. That following week, Scott invited Gabby to his Rowing Team's "80's themed" party at the Crew House where they hit it off. A couple months later Scott asked Gabby if she wanted to meet his mom, in which she replied "Take me on a date first?". This led to their first date at Eddie O'Brien's in downtown Geneva where they shared their life stories and talked about their families over Buffalo chicken salad. Scott and Gabby stayed friends their freshman year and continued to go on dates here and there. While Scott pledged Delta Chi, a fraternity on campus, Gabby focused on her studies. As freshman year came to an end, Gabby and Scott stayed in touch and made plans to see each other that summer. The two finally made it official while on a boat ride on Canandaigua Lake the summer going into their sophomore year, and the rest is history!

Eight years (two of long distance!), two apartments, and one Bernedoodle puppy later.... Scotty proposed to Gabby bright and early on a Saturday morning in March in the comfort of their apartment. We are so excited that you all will be joining us in Canandaigua, NY this upcoming June to celebrate our wedding!
