Pedro and Gaby met at the University of South Carolina their sophomore year. They were introduced through mutual friends and quickly bonded over a shared sense of humor and love of good food.

However, they did not start dating until junior year when Gaby broke her foot and couldn’t drive. Pedro very chivalrously offered to be her chauffeur for the semester, which turned into many late-night dinners and movie nights with lots of ice cream.

By graduation the couple was pretty much inseparable. Although, this may have more to do with the kitten Gaby adopted. Pedro, a former cat-hater, became a total cat dad and the three of them packed their bags for NYC.

8 years and three cats later, the couple is finally tying the knot and can’t wait to celebrate with all of their loved ones!
