Q + A

What are your wedding colors?

Our colors consist of black, green and cream/white. This in no way reflects that we want you to wear certain colors. Wear whatever colors you choose!

Where do I park?

You will likely need to plan to walk just a little bit. Parlor has a private parking lot directly south of the building with about 15 spots available. There are other options: 1. Street Parking directly on Locust St. 2. Street Parking on Oak St. 3. Paid Parking via Brewers Alley Parking located at the NW corner of 18th and Locust St. directly beside Double Shift Brewing Company. 4. Anywhere else you can find street parking. Please just park in spots not designated off limits.

What's the dress code?

Please wear what you feel comfortable in - business casual or business professional. Any colors.

How do I RSVP?

On our home page of this website, there is a button directly below the photos that states "RSVP". This RSVP is enough for us. You don't need to do anything more. If you are having difficulties RSVPing just send us a message.

What are the food options available?

The Parlor occasionally changes out the food options, but you can see what they most currently offer by checking out their website at https://www.parlorkcmo.com/.

How will dinner be served?

We will pass out gift cards for dinner after the ceremony. You are more than welcome to explore the venue during cocktail hour. You can order whenever you would like to eat. We just ask that you wait to eat until the Cellar is flipped and ready for the reception. You will order from any one of the food businesses located there in our venue on the main and second floor. They will take your phone number down and text you when it is ready. You can bring your food to the cellar and enjoy!

How will drinks be served?

There will be a full cash bar available in the cellar. However, post ceremony we will proceed to the living room on the main floor while awaiting the room to be flipped for the reception. You can order from any of the bars on the main or second floor. Just be sure to mention you are part of the wedding and your tab will be accessible in the cellar, as well.

Can I bring a gift?

We don’t have a traditional registry because, as some of you may be aware, we prefer not to exchange physical gifts. We prefer creating lasting memories through new experiences and adventures together. While we are grateful for any gift, we are non-traditional and do not expect you to bring one. Instead, we have registered for a honeymoon fund which can be found under “Registry”.
