It all started January 1st, 1999. I was born and I was destined to meet the most beautiful girl in the whole entire universe. But you being you, decided to not make your appearance until March 7th, 2001. Well fast forward a bunch of years and I went on to go on vacation with my family. After I few days of being there we all decided to go to this restaurant and as fate would have it, you were our waitress. I thought you were super cute and sweet so before we left I put my number on the receipt. After we left I didn't think much of it because I truly didn't think you'd actually text me. But later that night you proved me wrong and you textedvme and said "hey its Gabrielle". So we started talking and you told me about yourself and that you were in college and I told you about me and what I did. But I had to come back to Washington so we never actually got to hangout. We continued to talk everyday and got closer and closer to each other. Then I had a deployment come up and I told you I was going and you told me to be safe and I promised you I would. We continued to talk through my crazy schedule while I was out there, and it was about a month in and you asked me "so where do you see this going?" and on the inside I was freaking out because in my head I had no shot with you. So I said "well I'm vibing and your vibing so maybe we should be vibing together" and you agreed so we officially start "talking talking". After that I tried and tried to convince you to come see me in WA but you kept saying no and gave me all these crazy excuses like "you could be a serial killer, or we could have a terrible time" but I didn't let that stop me. Finally after a long deployment I was coming home in July that year. I starting making progress with you coming to see me because instead of you telling me no you started saying "we'll see" (so I knew I had you). I made it back home and you told me that you didn't even know when you would come so I randomly just said "come out the first week of August" and you said maybe. Then fast forward a bit and you text me one morning and said guess what? so I was like what? and you said I got my ticket and of course me being me I said oh where you going? Then you proceeded to tell me you were finally coming to see me! So I got super excited and I got ready for you to get there. The day finally came and I was on my way to pick you up from the airport and you got a little lost so I had to walk all around he airport but I finally found you sitting on the floor waiting patiently and as soon as I saw you I knew I was hooked because I fell so hard it was like getting hit by a 2 ton truck. But I helped you up and walked you to my car and carried your bags and opened your door. We made it to my apartment at the time and we just hangout for a little bit and I was trying to not be awkward because I'm a super shy person. Anyways we spent an amazing time together and we really didn't do much except just be with each other in the moment. On the last day you asked when we were going to make it official and I said let's make it official and you said no no you actually have to ask me, so I did But then I had to take you back to the airport so you could go home and go back to school :( but obviously we talked every day. But luckily I was coming home for Christmas and before I went home to see my family I came to see you for a week. You picked me up from the airport and we spent the most amazing week together just being goofy and having fun, but then I had to leave so I could see my family and then had to go back to Wa. But then I went AK for a work trip and we were talking all night, and you suggested that we get married and I said okay I'm so down if you really are. Then once I got home from that trip I started looking for rings for you so I could find the perfect one. We decided you would come out in may to see me again while you were on break for school and when I picked you up from the airport we came home and took a nap since you had to sleep in a airport the night before. Well after our nap I had came up with the most fitting way to purpose and it was a perfect plan but thats our secret. For a while we made the long distance thing work but we got tired of not being able to see each other like a normal couple I talked you into moving out here to WA. So before I left for another deployment I found us a house and moved in and got it all set up for you. Because of course you would plan to move while I'm away and you got to our house while I was deployed again but you got settled in and I got back a little after you. we quickly started building our lives together and decorated our house together and started our own little family with Oakley. Now we have the cutest family and we wouldn't trade our lives for the world. -Jacob
