Michael & I first met in College when we both transferred to Aurora University to play sports. Michael played on the Baseball team and I played on the Soccer team.


Every year, during Spring Break the AU Baseball team would travel to play in a tournament, in either Florida or Arizona. That particular year, it so happens that the Baseball team was playing in Arizona (where my family currently lives) and at the time my mom and I had already planned to drive to Tucson, AZ to meet up with highschool friend, that I havent seen in awhile. My college roomies were dating some of the baseball guys at the time and mentioned to me that they were playing not too far from where I was going to meet my friend, so my mom and I stopped to watch one of there games.


When my mom and I got to the baseball game, we sat on the bleachers and who we sat next too was Michaels mom, Dawn and Michaels aunt Wendi. Little did I know that was Michaels mom and aunt, until my mom goes, Whos your son? (of course my mom asks) to Dawn and Dawn points out Michael, and in my head I thought (Who is he and I have never seen him on Campus in my life HAHA). We talked to Dawn & Wendi throughout the game and had a nice time chatting with them.


I ended up later on looking Michael up on Facebook and Instagram and requested to be his friend. He later accepted my friend request and I decided I was just going to Facebook message him and say hello and thats how we started talking. We didnt actually meet face-to-face until the fall of the school year, and then started to hangout with my roomates and his baseball friends in group settings.

After a few months of seeing eachother he finally asked me to be his girlfriend and now we have been dating for 6 years now!

We are so excited to get married and start the next chapter of our lives. :)
