Our Wedding

Gage and Chloe met in February of 2021. The two lived in different dorm buildings on opposite sides of their parking lot. When Gage and Chloe first met, Chloe got quarantined twice so it took a few weeks (a few months if you ask Chloe) before the two finally got to start hanging out and spending time together. It did not take long for Gage and Chloe to be together on a daily basis.

When They First Met

Only a few months into dating, summer break began. Chloe made her first trip to Gage's house for his 21st birthday.

A few weeks later Gage and Chloe took a trip to Carolina Beach together.

Before they knew it, fall semester was beginning and the two were finally back together. The fall semester flew by with the two being occupied with dance and football.

Fall Semester Began

Before they knew it, spring semester had begun and the two had been together for a year. Reality had sunk in at this point and the two realized that Gage was fixing to graduate and Chloe was fixing to enter her senior year by herself.

One Year of Dating

Once the summer came, Gage graduated college and began rookie school and Chloe began her senior year. The two were faced with some big hurdles called life. The transition from living across the street from each other to living two and a half hours apart was far from easy

Summer 2022

Once Gage had moved back home, Chloe found a new interest in sonography. Chloe started her new journey in sonography and before the two knew it, two fast years had came and gone. The two got to see each other far less than before due to school and work, but they were making it work

Change of Plans

Fast forwarding to Christmas, Chloe’s parents got her a bernedoodle puppy. Chloe and Gage chose the name Huk and quickly made him the most spoiled dog anyone had ever met

The two got to see each other far less than before due to school and work, but they were making it work. The two got to go on a cruise for an entire week during spring break. Due to the distance apart and hectic schedules, trips and vacations became the new normal for the times they saw each other. After several trips to the beach and the coast, the summer came to an end and Chloe had to return to school.

Many Fun Trips 

A few months later, Chloe’s spring break and birthday happened to fall relatively close together. Still battling schedules, the two hadn’t been spending much time together.&nbsp;Gage planned a trip for the two in Asheville. They rented a cabin on the side of a mountain. Chloe had been telling Gage that she wanted pictures made of them for months but timing just never lined up. Gage told Chloe that one of her birthday presents was pictures while on their trip. Gage scheduled pictures for the morning after the two checked in with a photographer he had found on Instagram. What Chloe didn’t know was that Gage had planned to propose to her. Just a few minutes into the pictures, the photographer winked at Gage to let him know that he was ready. Gage proposed to Chloe and she still to this day hasn’t said yes, but she did put the ring on and told everybody he had proposed, so Gage took it as a yes. A month after proposal the two had their three year anniversary.

The Proposal

Only a week later they got their first house. Over the next few months Gage and his family remodeled the house due to it being in Gage’s home town. Chloe came to see the house for the first time the same weekend the two made a trip to Boonville to view their dream venue. Once the two selected the venue the wedding planning began.

First House

Just prior to Gage’s birthday, he moved in to the house. Chloe came to visit the next week and the two decorated the house all week. A month later, the two had a trip planned to go to the coast for a little over a week. With just their luck, a hurricane made landfall and ruined the trip. The two drove all the way back to their home and spent the next week decorating and adding finishing touches to everything else in their house. The following week Chloe began her last year of sonography school. Over the course of the next year, Chloe and Gage made weekend trips to each other closing the window of time they had left up until the wedding.&nbsp;
