Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Both the wedding ceremony and reception will be taking place at Olney Parkside Event Center next to the Best Western Hotel.
When Should I Arrive?
We would appreciate if everyone could arrive between 3:45-4:15. We would like to keep all visual of the bride prior to the wedding at a minimum.
Are there any seating arrangements?
There will be a seating chart in the foyer showing what table you will be seated at. There will be people nearby to help find your seat if needed!
What are we having for dinner?
We will be having pulled pork smoked by James Huff himself. Sides include mac & cheese, veggie tray & dip, coleslaw, baked beans, and chips & dip. There will also be a variety of snacks prior to the meal at the snack bar. After dinner feel free to help yourself to the wide selection at the dessert bar.
Are alcoholic beverages provided?
Two kegs and a case of semi-sweet/sweet wine will be provided at the venue free of charge. There is also a bar located at the venue to provide mixed drinks or anything else not provided. They accept cash, credit, and Apple Pay. No outside alcohol will be allowed to be brought in.
Is the venue outdoors or indoors?
The wedding and reception will be held indoors. There will be a small exterior patio located on the West side of the building.
What should I wear?
We ask everyone to wear casual dressy to semi-formal attire. We want everyone to be comfortable while celebrating with us! Dressy casual: Nice jeans or dress pants with a nice shirt. Semi-formal: Men- A suit, dress pants, and a button up shirt. Semi-formal: Women- Dress, skirt & blouse, or a jumpsuit.
Are monetary gifts welcome?
Due to being on our own for the past few years, we have almost everything to supply our home, so monetary gifts are welcome. If you wish to give a gift, we would graciously accept a contribution towards a honeymoon or new house fund. The most important thing to us is that you're able to come and celebrate our wedding.
How important is it to RSVP?
It's very important to RSVP with the correct number attending (including children) by the date (July 18, 2025) so we can make an accurate seating chart, and have the correct amount of table/chairs set up. We would appreciate a RSVP as soon as possible to help with making the seating chart. If you have trouble RSVPing via this website, feel free to message us your response!
