We have two hotel blocks that are in different areas but we recommend both spots! If you want to be on the beach, have close access to the ocean, shops, and restaurants, and be near the vibe district (one of our favorite areas) then the Hilton is your place. It is right in the heart of the boardwalk with much to do. We recommend exploring the higher number streets because it is less touristy. The Glass Light Hotel is in downtown Norfolk close to the airport and venue! It is historical and walkable to lots of great stores, coffee shops, restaurants, and the waterfront. It's also a gorgeous hotel with a great bar and restaurant inside. Finally, we also recommend Airbnb or Vrbo if you are looking for a place with a group!

Our intention is to have a whole weekend with the people we love the most. We wanted to create an event that is centered around being together. On Friday, we are inviting anyone in town to come to the Raleigh Room bar located in the Cavalier Hotel at the Oceanfront. Then on Saturday, we are having an informal Beach Bash at the Groomsmen's Airbnb on East Beach. If the weather is good and you're looking for something to do come hang with us! We will have games and some light bites. Saturday evening we are hosting a Welcome Party at Back Bay's Farmhouse Brewery. We will have a food truck, beer, and wine! Finally, on Sunday will be the wedding!! Both the ceremony and reception will be at the Hermitage Museum & Gardens.

The Welcome Party at Back Bay's Farmhouse Brewery is very casual, so wear whatever you feel comfortable in — it will be outside! For the wedding, we are requesting black-tie optional. Now what does that mean? For the guys — you can wear a tux or opt for a darker-colored suit. For the gals — you can wear either a formal gown, a midi dress, a shorter cocktail dress, or dressy separates. We will be outside so make sure your footwear is appropriate. It could also get chilly when the sun goes down so a jacket or shawl is recommended.
