These two love birds story started three years ago where Alyssa & Garrett met at a playground and it was love at first sight, not just for Garrett & Alyssa, but for Garrett’s daughter, Marissa. Alyssa and Marissa were and are two peas in a pod. Not only acting alike, but looking alike.
Sadly, after almost a year together, the two love birds branched apart. But God had a plan up sleeve for these two love birds.

In perfect timing, September of 2023 Garrett & Alyssa were back into each others arms. The love for each other was never forgotten and most of all never left. The trio of Garrett, Alyssa, and Marissa took off like nothing ever happened. Alyssa’s mom, Kim, was all in, but Brad, Alyssa’s step-dad, was not sold just yet.

Brad wanted a sit down and meet before the family dinner at Ray Jays. As any father would, Brad questioned Garrett on if this is the right move for the two. Here’s a little context, Garrett did not just fall in love with Alyssa he fell in love with Kim, Brad, and Nick. Garrett finally felt like he was accept for who he was and how well he treated and loved Alyssa. Tom and Dorothy, Garrett’s parents, made Alyssa feel like she was at home. Family is the most important thing for these two so feeling loved by both families was a must.

After the dinner, Brad was still skeptical, but Garrett was very determined to regain the families trust and love. After a short two months, Alyssa was fully moved in with Garrett and Marissa, everything was back to perfect. Garrett and Alyssa knew from the bottom of their hearts this is what they both wanted more than anything, to become a family.

One Christmas Eve, Garrett got down on one knee in front of many family members and asked Alyssa for her hand in marriage. Obviously we all know what Alyssa said or we wouldn’t be here today.

March of 2024 Alyssa and Garrett became dog parents for the first time adding baby Mable to the family. She has brought so much love and happiness to our family.

On October 18, 2024, you all will be apart of celebrating a very special day. You will be witnessing Garrett & Alyssa coming together as one by making the biggest promise two love birds can make to one another.
