Our story begins in high school. I had just moved to California to the town where Gary had spent his entire life. We first met in a choir class and connected with each other over our shared love of music. Our friendship began and then on November 21st, 2014 just a couple months after knowing each other, Gary asked me to be his girlfriend. We were 14 and 15 years old, and started a relationship that was probably too intense for 2 kids to be in but we thrived.

Gary graduated in may of 2017 and in January of 2018 He moved to Rigby Idaho with his parents and started a new phase in their lives and our relationship. At 17 and 18 after surviving everything high school had to throw at us we tried our hand at continuing our relationship 899 miles apart. This thoroughly tested our strength as a couple. We learned so much about communication, our expectations for one another and how much we really wanted to come out of it together. Through texts and phone calls we persevered and by the time I moved out of my parents house to Rigby in march of 2020 we were stronger than ever.

Cue the pandemic, I was away from everything I'd ever known. Gary and I were navigating living together for the first time and our relationship continued being tested, only for us to pass with flying colors. After about 7 months we settled into our new lives, and proved to ourselves once again that we were going to thrive together.

We got engaged January 2nd 2022 and it was absolutely beautiful! The past year and a half has been filled with wedding planning and advancing our lives. We've been working hard to advance our life together, and our pending marriage is the next step!
