Long Distance Love

Gavin and I have two different versions of our story. I thought it would be fun to have his/hers perspective, so here we go:) His: The first time I met Kenzie was over FaceTime when she was on a meeting with my mom. I was wearing MAUI Jims and a Bass Pro Shop hat. She complimented me on it and I thought she was lying. The next time I saw her I was wearing ski pants. I was her tour guide of Mobile, Alabama. She was wearing a white long-sleeve and skinny jeans. I wanted to make it clear that my intentions were uhh.. pure? so I gave her a "friendly hug" to "friend zone" her. When we got in the car I shuffled a playlist of 7,000+ songs and "Beautiful Stranger" played. I thought it was fitting because she was the most beautiful stranger I had ever seen. Conversation was so natural, like we were old friends. It felt like I had always known her and it feels like that first conversation never ended, It kept going and I'm sure lucky it did. Hers:I was in town working for his mom. I flew into New Orleans where she picked me up and drove me back to Alabama. 3 days later, I walked into their kitchen after a day of work to see Gavin trying on ski pants for their upcoming vacation. He gave me the most awkward side-hug ever then invited me to the gym with him. He opened the car door for me and the song "Beautiful Stranger" came on when we started driving. This became our song:) We worked out, got "Cook Out" to eat, and headed back to his house. We quickly realized we had a lot in common and talked all night. It felt like I had known him all my life but we had literally just met. Leaving to go back to California I called my mom and told her I had met a guy and that I might sound crazy but I'm gonna marry him. Well... here we are soooo I guess I'm not too crazy.
