There is so much to do, places to eat, and things to see near the venue. Banner Elk is about a 30 min drive from Boone, NC where we both attended University at Appalachian State (GO MOUNTAINEERS!!!!). We may be partial to the small mountain town, but we feel justified in our love for its views, good times, and places to eat. Whether it is hiking on the blue ridge, shopping in Banner Elk or Boone, or eating/drinking your way across the mountain we highly suggest making the trip to do and see this place we love so much!
We have listed some suggestions of our favorites for all of the above if you want to try them out.
