Our Story

Levi and Gavin were both born and raised in Summers County.&nbsp;They were rivals in the third grade during Academic Roundup but became friends in the 7th&nbsp;grade at Summers Middle School. This friendship grew to become something stronger when they entered their sophomore year at Summers County High School.&nbsp; Gavin started college in the fall of 2021 studying a bachelor's in nursing at West Virginia University, while Levi lived in Hinton pursuing a journeyman's in electrical trade at FIT in Oak Hill. They continued to support each other long distance and after Levi's graduation, he applied and was hired at Pillar Innovation's located in Morgantown and moved in the summer of 2022. Their romance continued for six years until Levi decided to take the next step in their relationship, on December 22, 2024. They had talked about how magical it would be spending Christmas in New York together one day, and Levi decided to book a surprise trip during Gavin's senior year of college. He planned every detail, from tickets to see the New York City Ballet's "The Nutcracker", to a private dinner 130 stories up, overlooking the New York City skyline. On the final day of their trip, Levi surprised Gavin with a romantic proposal at Rockefeller Center in New York City. Gavin will graduate on May 16, 2025 with a Bachelor of Science in Nursing and plans to work in the CVICU at Mon Medical Center.&nbsp;Levi is a Foreman for Pillar Innovations in Morgantown. The two have been best friends and each other's biggest fans through all of life's endeavors thus far, and plan to be for many years more! They are so excited to celebrate their love with the people they love most this fall!

It also features indoor and outdoor swimming pools, a bowling alley and more. The suites at The Resort at Glade Springs are equipped with 2 flat-screen TVs and free Wi-Fi. They are furnished with a sofa bed and work desk. A microwave and refrigerator are also provided. This Daniels resort features 2 restaurants, a sports bar, and a café. Escape rooms are offered at the Leisure Center Raleigh County Memorial Airport is 5 minutes' drive from The Resort at Glade Springs. Daniels Vineyards is 15 minutes' drive from the property.
