I didn't realize when I moved into Gavyn's ward during senior year that I would be meeting the love of my life. When we first spoke to each other I knew he was someone special, but I didn't realize how perfect he would be to me. Time passed and Gavyn left to Norway, and I went to Seattle. Fast forward to December 15th of last year when we both returned home from our missions. We hadn't spoke in years but I thought he was cute and I reached out to him. I invited him to watch Top Gun Maverick with me and we just hit it off. He brought out a side of me that I loved. He became my best friend and soon I realized he would be the love of my life. I remember my mom asked me about a month into dating if I thought I would marry him, I said, "I think I will."

On November 24th, 2025 Gavyn got on one knee and asked me to marry him, and I said yes. It was perfect, everything I dreamed it would be. We had gone to church right before and he had the spontaneous idea to go walk around the temple, I was curious if he would purpose. But he was so calm, I didn't think anything of it. I was so excited when he asked me to marry him. I couldn't be happier to marry the man of my dreams. I love Gavyn so much and I can't wait to spend the rest of eternity with him.
