*Frequently Asked Questions*
Is this a Kid free wedding?
While we absolutely adore your kiddos, our wedding will be a kid-free event (16+) except for the children who are part of our special day. We kindly ask that you respect the number of guests listed on your RSVP and not bring any children who aren’t specifically invited. We would never put you in that position, and we deeply appreciate the same courtesy. We truly hope you can enjoy a night out with us—if possible, treat yourself to a sitter and come ready to celebrate!
Is everyone invited to the Ceremony and reception?
We’ve chosen to exchange our vows in a small, private ceremony before the reception—a quiet, meaningful moment shared with just a few close loved ones. As much as we adore all of you, speaking our hearts in front of a big crowd felt a little overwhelming. We can’t wait to celebrate the rest of the evening with everyone we love most. Please take a moment to check your RSVP options carefully so we can make sure your part of the day is just right. Your love and support mean the absolute world to us.
Where is the reception ?
For easiest mapping, the reception will be at Chelsea Fair Grounds in one of the barns right off of Old US HWY 12! It will be very well marked and I promise you won’t be able to miss it!
Will it be an open bar?
Drinks are on us, the hangover’s on you! 🥂 We’ll have a full open bar with plenty of options—cocktails, mocktails, and everything in between—so everyone can raise a glass their way. Whether you’re sipping something strong or keeping it booze-free, we just want you to enjoy, celebrate, and make the night unforgettable.
We would like to kindly remind you ** PLEASE BE KIND TO OUR BAR TENDERS* they will have the full authority to cut anyone off or by request of Gavyn and I, or our parents if we feel fit.
What is the Dress Code?
Our dress code is semi-formal—think dressed-up, date night, but not too fancy. Feel free to show up in what makes you feel your best! Dresses, jumpsuits, dress shirts… even jeans are totally okay as long as they’re polished and paired with a nice top or jacket. We just want you to be comfortable, confident, photo presentable, and ready to celebrate with us!
Will there be activities other than dancing??
We will have yard games such as cornhole, yard jenga, and many more! We ask that your respect those games and treat them as you would your own!
Will we need cash for anything ?
Yes, cash is recommended! Our bartenders will definitely deserve some love for handling all the shenanigans throughout the night, and we’ll also be having a dollar dance if you’d like to join in!
Of course, there will be some friendly competition involved
