The Hecht’s start to Forever ❤️

Chasten and I went to Chester High School together all four years. He played football and I did cheerleading. After high school, Chasten joined the Marines and I went to live with my mom while attending dental assisting school. Life came and went. Chasten retired from the Marines on April 30, 2022 after 12 years of serving our country! I had been working for the state of Illinois for 7 years at this time and had been blessed with my two beautiful children! It was a Saturday night in October of 2022 and I was at Bensons with my friend Tracey Welge. I had a few drinks and had went home early that night. The next day Chasten messaged me on Facebook asking if I was at Bensons. I replied with yes and he said he was there but I had no idea! We talked for a while when I randomly asked him if he wanted to go “as friends” to Tower rock. We went and had a great time hiking. We went back to our vehicles and both went home. We texted for a while and he asked if he could see me again, I replied with, “Maybe”. Obvisouly, I was playing hard to get because a few days later I invited him over to carve pumpkins. That night he asked me if I wanted to be his wedding day for Jonovans’ wedding. Of course, I said yes!!! During the wedding reception Chasten asked me if I would be his girlfriend and we have been inseparable ever since! 🥰 Each day that goes on we get closer and closer and we truly think God put us back together after all these years because he knew we are soulmates and we thank him everyday for that!!❤️❤️
