Their story began in high school. Genesis was new to Lyndhurst, New Jersey while Dillon grew up in the small town. It's sophomore year, friends are being made, groups mingling with each other when somehow, their friend groups crossed.

"Who is that girl?"

"Who is that boy?"

As soon as they noticed each other in a sea of teenagers, they couldn't help but gravitate towards each other.

They graduated high school together but, attended college for completely different fields.

"I think I wanna do something in television. Maybe news? I do love Ron Burgundy in Anchorman."

"I want to do something with the environment because I like being outdoors."

Despite the differences in study and schools, they always found each other.

Graduations followed and the two found themselves in Connecticut.

On one faithful trip to the Dominican Republic, she thought he was going to propose by the end of it. However, he knew that and did it the second day on their tropical vacation.

"Genesis Powell, I love you so much. Will you marry me?"

She was a blubbering mess but through it she said, "Yes!"

Back in the New England state, the two walked side by side at yet another orchard in a cool autumn day.

"I sure do love the fall here. It feels so different. Oh! I want that one too!" She points at a tree as he picks yet another apple and tosses it in the already overflowing bag of apples.

"Since you love it so much, maybe we should find a wedding venue here."

And so we did. We feel great joy inviting our loved ones to our very fall, very New England wedding. We look forward to it and are counting down the days to celebrate our story with you!
