For those staying in Sebastopol there is a downtown area called “The Barlow” which has shops, wine tasting, beer tasting and good restaurants.
Anyone that is a fan of Charlie Brown definitely check out the Charles Schultz museum in downtown Santa Rosa.
Healdsburg is where Tamarind is located which is the store I am a partner at. I would highly encourage anyone that wants good food, wine, and shopping to please spend a day touring around. Healdsburg is a huge tourist destination with some of the best restaurants in Sonoma county.
For those of you that have seen the movie “The Birds” I would encourage you to take a drive to town of Bodega and Check out the famous church, find some yummy clam chowder at “Spud point” while heading up to the look out point at Bodega’s head.
For those that love to hike there is a stunning park in the next town to Santa Rosa called Windsor. Foothills is a great walk with big inclines and stunning lakes.
For those of you that enjoy art. There is a local art museum in downtown Santa Rosa.
Places to eat around the hotels. I would highly recommend Jacksons. Every time Marcus and I have gone there it’s always great! Never gone wrong and the staff is very friendly.
For those that want a delicious steak or fish I would highly recommend Stark’s plus they have amazing cocktails.
Another great place to eat in downtown Santa Rosa. Please note that this restaurant mostly does small plates to share.
For those that love beer, Santa Rosa has many great brewery’s. Russian River is one of the best and is located in downtown Santa Rosa down 4th street.
