Directions, Transportation and Accommodations
When is the Wedding?
Our wedding ceremony will start at 5:30 PM ET on Friday, October 11, 2024. It will be followed by a cocktail hour and dancing the night away!
Where is the Wedding?
Both our ceremony and reception will be at the Fairmount Water Works, 640 Waterworks Dr, Philadelphia, PA 19130. It is seated right next to Boat House Row and behind the famous Philadelphia Museum of Art.
Is your wedding outside or inside?
Our ceremony will be in a covered outdoor setting, The Grand Pavilion. An open-air space surrounded by Neo-Classical Grecian Pillars and a stone roof, The Grand Pavilion will keep us protected from any potential rain. However, it is seated right on the Schuylkill River which can cause wind drafts. We would recommend bringing a shawl or a nice sweater just in case.
For cocktail hour, we will have full access to the Engine House, as well as the many decks overlooking the river.
Lastly, our reception will be at the Mill House Deck, a clear top covered wedding space with dinner and dancing!

Will there be transportation provided from the hotel?
We have employed the iconic Cescaphe Trolley to transport guests from the Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107 and back at the end of the night. The trolley will only seat 35-40 at a time and will make two trips before the ceremony.
What is the hotel where out of town guests can stay?
We have room blocks open at The Loews Philadelphia Hotel at 1200 Market Street, Philadelphia, PA 19107. To book your hotel arrangements, please visit the Travel section of our website. Our room block closes on September 12, 2024, so make sure you book ahead to time if you'd like to stay at The Loews!
Is your venue wheelchair accessible?
Our venue is wheelchair accessible, as well as with many handicapped spaces in the parking lot.
Dress Code
What is the dress code at your wedding?
Our dress code is Formal. We suggest that men wear a suit in any color and women wear a cocktail dress or nice pantsuit.
What is October weather like in Philadelphia?
While weather becomes harder and harder to predict, the most recent temperature averages for October in Philadelphia have been a high of 67 degrees Fahrenheit and a low of 52 degrees Fahrenheit. As suggested above, we recommended bring a shawl or nice sweater to the venue.

Should we bring a gift to your wedding?
Your presence at our wedding is the greatest gift we could ask for! If you would like to honor us with a gift, you can have it delivered to our home address, 440 Miller Street, Philadelphia, PA 19125. A wedding card box will be at our reception.
Wedding Weekend Itinerary
What is the wedding day itinerary?
Our Ceremony will start at 5:30 PM ET and will last for about 30 minutes. Immediately following the ceremony will be our Cocktail Hour which will last until 7:30 PM ET. Once Cocktail Hour has concluded, we will open the Mill House Deck for guests to be seated for the reception, which will begin between 7:30 and 8 PM ET. We will have dinner, speeches and dancing that will last until 11:30 PM ET.
What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?
We recommend arriving to the venue between 15-20 minutes ahead of time. We are seated right along the Schuylkill River Trail as well as right behind the Philadelphia Museum of Art, both of which are beautiful to walk around, enjoy nature and sculptures, and take pictures before you find your seats for the ceremony.
Other Questions
Am I allowed to take photos at your Wedding Ceremony?
In the words of the Great Magic Conch Shell, "No." We will be having an Unplugged Ceremony where we will ask guests to put away all phones and cameras, as we would like you all to enjoy the moment with us. We also have a wonderful photographer in Days Away Creative, and videographer in Philly Wedding Films who will provide top notch documentation of our ceremony.
