For parties staying at Eagle River Inn, Best Western, and Days Inn we will have two buses doing pick-ups before the ceremony. The bus back to the hotel will resume at 9pm.

This is the resort where both our ceremony and reception will take place. They offer a variety of rooms and cabin rentals, but do require a 3-night minimum. We do not have a room block, but please let them know you are with the Himmelman/Wethington wedding if you choose the resort for your stay.

Most rooms require a 2-night minimum.

This hotel requires a 2-night minimum and would be our recommended hotel stay.

Best Western Derby Inn

There is no minimum stay at this hotel.

There are many Airbnb, VRBO, and independent cabin rentals in the area as well. Please reach out if you would like further recommendations on alternative stay options!

If you're flying in, the Rhinelander County Airport will be the closest option for a connecting flight from either Minneapolis or Chicago O-Hare.

Travel & Lodging 

Eagle River and the surrounding area is a popular vacation spot with a variety of activities to enjoy! Feel free to reach out if you're planning an extended trip and would like more ideas. Here's several favorites:

Elmer's is a great spot in nearby St. Germain to go-kart and/or mini-golf!

Elmers Fun Park

A staple on vacation since Genna's childhood, Cathy's is an amazing ice cream shop and candy store - definitely a can't miss stop!

Excellent putt-putt course and laser tag right on the east side of Eagle River.

Eagle Falls Adventure Golf & Laser Tag.

This campground is located just north of Eagle River and has a nice pond with a large aquatic playground. It’s fun for kids and adults alike!

Hi-Pines Campground Aqua Play Zone

Hawks Nest is our recommendation if you'd like to float on the Wisconsin River. They provide all of the necessary equipment and transport you to the drop-off site. The trip can take anywhere from 3-6 hours depending on water levels, but is a very scenic and enjoyable way to spend the day!

If you're planning to extend your stay or come to town early, Boat Sport offers a variety of rentals for daily or weekly use and they are located right on the Chain of Lakes.

If you're in town on Monday, St. Germain has an excellent flea market with hundreds of vendors of all sorts. It's a great way to spend the morning and find items from local makers!
