Our Wedding

Heather and George met (as all great couples do), on a dating app… Hinge, to be exact. On her profile, Heather answered an open-ended question that the app offers. It read, “One thing I will never shut up about is _______.” Her response was, “Airline Status and Frequent-Flyer Miles.” Now, if you’ve spoken to George even once in the past 10-15 years, you’ll know that he’s obsessed with that whole world. So it was the fastest “swipe right” of his life! Meanwhile, George had a picture of himself in front of the Pittsburgh skyline. (He still contends that it’s a very underrated skyline.) Since Heather is a proud Yinzer (that’s what people from Pittsburgh call themselves), she saw the opportunity to strike up a conversation. So even though she 100% knew that it was Pittsburgh, she still asked, “Hey, is that Pittsburgh?” And the conversation went from there… With their mutual appreciation of frequent-flyer miles and the Pittsburgh skyline established, they both knew that even if their date didn’t produce sparks, they’d at least have something to talk about and that it wouldn’t be awkward between them (this is a very real concern in the LA dating scene). Their date was predictably a smashing success! Fast forward to today, and Heather and George have visited 14 countries together (with more planned)… which is why it only makes sense that they get married at an airport!

Heather met Rebecca when she became a regular at her SoulCycle classes. In the time since, she’s introduced Heather to the vast array of awesome Korean food around LA. They are neighbors in Los Angeles and go to at least one movie a week together.

Heather and Megan met when they worked together at a local LA spin and yoga studio, and again at SoulCycle. They were formerly neighbors, but she’s since moved to Baltimore where she has her own practice as a clinical social worker and therapist. Fun fact: before being a social worker, Megan taught spinning classes for Michelle Obama.

Heather and Lindsay met through their mutual Disney Instagram accounts. Aside from George, she has been to more countries with Heather than any other person. This includes 5 out of the 6 Disney castles scattered across the world.

Lindsey Mueller

Heather met Emily in the music industry at KROQ radio station in Los Angeles. Both love Disney cruises and amazing food… and Emily is increasingly introducing Heather to the world of amazing wine.


Emily Little McGee

Heather and Raven met through their Disney Instagram accounts and connected over their love of Disney. Heather and George attended her recent wedding in France. Raven lives in Orlando, so Heather gets to see her quite often.

Raven Megna

Heather and Tara both have backgrounds in the radio industry. Her love of Disney is matched only by her love of boy bands. She currently works as a podcast producer in Los Angeles, working on prominent podcasts that combine her passions with her profession.

Tara Soudbaksh

Heather met Courtney through being her spin instructor (most famously, Courtney was present at the class attended by Britney Spears). Heather and George attended her recent wedding in Maine. Courtney is a prominent talent manager in Los Angeles.

Courtney Tunney

George and John first met while building a brewery in Cambodia. They didn’t get along at first, but had to team up when the construction site was invaded by a local Beanie Baby smuggler. George was cornered by one of his henchmen, when John broke a bottle of Jägermeister over his head, saving him. They’ve been friends ever since!

John Best

George first met Chris Bannerman in the backwoods of Louisiana. Chris was the best alligator wrestler in the state and was known as “The Bayou Brawler.” After attending one of his shows, they struck up a conversation and discovered that they were both moving to Los Angeles in the coming months. They’ve been friends ever since!

While hunting for Bigfoot in the Pacific Northwest, Will accidentally shot George in the ass when he mistook him for the legendary sasquatch. George recovered without complications, but to avoid getting shot again, George will NOT be accompanying Will on his upcoming trip to Scotland, where he will attempt to slay the Loch Ness Monster. Will’s favorite wrestler is Ric Flair.

Will Phillips

George and Vinnie met in Battle Creek, Michigan while working an undercover mission for the CIA. Tasked with bringing down a ruthless counterfeit cereal operation, Vinnie’s dogged perseverance successfully brought down the cartel.  So next time, you’re eating Cap’n Crunch… be sure to thank Vinnie!

Vinnie Donadio

Steve is famous for his ground-breaking work studying the ice shelves of Antarctica, and the glaciers they create. He acquired the nickname “The Ice Man” because of this work, and definitely not because he worked as an ice delivery man in college. How he knows George is unclear.

Piper is the daughter of Heather’s first cousin, Whitney Collinson. She lives in Charlotte, North Carolina and has a twin brother Parker. Piper is 9 years old.

Florence is the daughter of Heather’s first cousin, Hayley Knollman Welshon. She lives in Philadelphia and has a twin brother Louis. Florence is 5 years old.

Murphy is the nephew of Heather and son of Heather’s only sibling, Philip Peggs. Murphy lives in Nashville and will soon be 7 years old.
