January 2021, Ari and Georgeta were working at the same company, Yelp. Ari was already working there for a couple of years when Georgeta joined his team. She noticed this really cute Jewish boy who was also a great salesman! With some wing womaning from one of their teammates, they were finally able to talk one on one.

After facetiming sometimes for 7 hours a day for about a month ,they realized they had this connection they needed to explore. The problem? Ari was in Chicago, and Georgeta was in Colorado. What were two smitten love birds to do?!

They decided that even though Ari was going to be in Colorado in March for a ski trip, they simply couldn't wait. Ari called Georgeta and told her to get her little butt to Chicago so they can meet in person. She was on a plane in three days. They were so excited, they didn't even realize that she was coming on Valentine's Day weekend. When she sadly had to go home, she called her best friend Bree and said, "I just spent the weekend with the man I'm going to marry."

Before they knew it, Ari and Georgeta were living together in a tiny one-bedroom apartment growing and cultivating their love for each other. They had the opportunity to spend a lot of time with Ari's family and friends, who very quickly became hers too. It wasn't long before they were calling each other "Monkee" and "Tree" because she hangs on him like a little monkey on a tree.

They decided to grow the family by adopting their two fur babies Mittens and PJ. Mittens fell in love with Ari, and PJ fell in love with Georgeta right away. They knew it was a match made in heaven.

Ari and Georgeta went on many adventures in Chicago including amazing Newman weddings, road trips across the country, dive trips to Mexico, and sight seeing in France.

After a great year in Chicago, they decided to take the plunge and move to Denver Colorado, where they found a beautiful apartment in Lowry. Though they were faced with some challenges, they came out stronger, wiser, and more in love than ever.

The best day of their lives (so far) when Ari (Tree) asked Georgeta to be his Forever Monkee.
