Our journey began in Orlando, where fate brought us together. From the moment we met, there was an undeniable connection, and it wasn’t long before we decided to begin dating. We spent countless hours together, many of them strolling through downtown Orlando, sharing our dreams and laughter as we walked around Lake Davis. Our bond grew so strong that we became inseparable.

Life, however, had its own plans. Gerald was offered a job in his hometown, and after much discussion, we decided he would take the opportunity, with plans to return to Orlando in a year. We embraced the challenge of long-distance, traveling back and forth to be together. But love knows no boundaries, and it didn’t take long for us to realize that being apart was not what we truly wanted.

With a long-held desire to live in South Carolina, DeSheila made the decision to relocate, and soon after, she secured her dream job with the South Carolina Department of Education. As we built our future in a new place, Gerald knew without a doubt that DeSheila was the one.

In May 2024, he got down on one knee and asked her to spend forever with him. Without hesitation, she said yes! Now, we look forward to a lifetime of love, laughter, and adventure as we step into this new chapter together.
