We would love to spend time with people Friday &/or Saturday if possible, & may come up with a place to get together to hang out either nearby, such as Empire (bar/restaurant) in Downers Grove (DG), or maybe somewhere in Chicago (maybe even the beach, who knows), or even just at Phil's parents' house or our own.

That said, there are plenty of things to do and see in the area, and in the city of Chicago (~45 mins. to 1.5 hrs. avg. travel time from our area).
