Tyler and I started talking the summer going into freshman year. I had initiated the first conversation and told myself if he didnt text me the next day then he wasnt interested and I would move on. Thankfully the next day I received a text from Tyler and was super excited to continue getting to know each other. Every day after we would talk more and more. Tyler asked me to be his girlfriend the Friday of his first highschool football game and asked if I would wear his jersey. I couldn’t have been more excited! Throughout highschool we cheered on one another in soccer and football and even won homecoming court our sophomore year! We went to every dance together and grew closer and closer among the years. As we entered college and matured, our love for one another only continued to grow stronger. July 1st was a day I will never forget! Tyler planned out a dinner on the rooftop at the Elderwood and had both of our families there. After dinner he got down on one knee and popped the question I had been longing to hear! It was the easiest yes of my life! The Lord has truly blessed us with such an amazing relationship and friendship. Tyler is truly my best friend and I am so excited to become his wife!
