Our Wedding

It all began on October 21, 2018, at Rust and Gold in Huntington, NY, where fate (and maybe a really good cocktail) brought us together. Sparks flew, conversations flowed, and it was clear from the start that something special was unfolding. By Christmas, we were already introducing each other to our families—because when you know, you know—and we didn’t believe in wasting any time. We guess the U-Haul stereotype isn’t entirely without merit, as before long, we were living together, seamlessly building a life filled with love, laughter, travel and Gilmore Girls—iykyk Amanda and Gianna’s cat, Leo, hit it off right away, and we quickly realized we made great co-parents. Inspired by this perfect balance, we decided to add another furry companion. In October 2019, we tossed aside the “do not get a dog” warnings and welcomed Nash into our lives. Since then, Nash has become the most adored (and spoiled) grandchild in both families, winning everyone over with his charm and proving all the skeptics completely wrong. We spent a few wonderful years in Greenlawn while Gianna finished her master’s degree and Amanda worked from home. Life was good, but we craved sunshine and new adventures, so in June 2022, we made the bold move to Florida. Six months later, on Christmas Eve, Amanda popped the question with a gift under the tree. Not to be outdone, Gianna asked Amanda on New Year’s Eve with a ring attached to Nash’s collar. It was a season of saying yes. By 2023, we bought our first home in New Smyrna Beach and started dreaming about our wedding. After much debate about where to tie the knot (including a dreamy trip to Lake Como, Italy to find a venue), we realized that returning to our Long Island roots felt like the perfect choice. Since Christmas has always been a part of our story, it only made sense to celebrate our love surrounded by the magic of the season and everyone we cherish. We can’t wait to celebrate with you in December 2025 and create even more unforgettable memories together.
