Samuel and I had been best friends for a couple years. We hung out almost every weekend and eventually confessed that we "liked" each other. We became close with each others families and I was patiently waiting for him to make me officially his girlfriend. Five long months of us just talking, and finally it happened. It was my favorite time of year...fall! The date was October 18th, 2014. I was hanging out with my two best friends...one of them being Sam's twin sister. We were headed to to pick Sam up to go to a haunted house. When we arrived to his house my friend asked to come inside and was super giggly. I walked inside and went upstairs to greet Sam. When I walked into his room there was a big poster in gold glitter letters that said "Will you be my girlfriend G?" along with flowers, chocolate covered strawberries, and candy. I of course turned to him, said yes and gave him a kiss! My friends laughed and cheered! Afterward we celebrated with dinner and the haunted house. We have been together ever since. October and fall is now our favorite time of year, and we can't wait to tie the knot almost 9 years later with everyone we love surrounding us!
