Gianna and Arthur met in college at Montclair State University - both in their sophomore year in Spring 2016. They were both a part of Greek life, always getting together in big groups of friends, but never in the same circle.

September 2017, Gianna started planning an event for her sorority and Arthur reached out to help. Gianna thought nothing of it, just two cordial acquaintances working together, but as the weeks went by, a real friendship was formed and the beginning of their forever started without even knowing it yet.

November 17, 2017 they went on their first official date and December 2, 2017 on another date in New York City, Arthur asked Gianna to be his girlfriend. Throughout the years together, they have accomplished a great deal and continue to grow their lives every day.

On March 30, 2024, Arthur proposed to Gianna at Liberty House in Jersey City. A beautiful spot with the most stunning New York views, where part of their love story started and where they continue to go to celebrate one another.
