Where are the ceremony and reception taking place?
Ceremony and reception will both be taking place at Sanctuary Events.
If you are being dropped off at the venue, please go to 24216 Lockport St Ste C, Plainfield, IL 60544.
If you are driving to the venue, please go to the parking lot at 14735 Wood Farm Rd, Plainfield IL 60544 to park your car in the parking lot there. A shuttle from Sanctuary Events will pick you up from the parking lot to take you to the venue and will drop you back off at the end of the night. It's run times are 4:30-5:30p and 9:15-11:30p. The lot is about 0.4 miles away from the venue.
What time should I arrive for the ceremony?
Ceremony will start at 5pm. Please arrive by at the latest 4:45pm to not miss or delay.
Where do I park?
If you are driving your own car to our wedding, please go to 14735 Wood Farm Rd, Plainfield, IL 60544 to park your car in the lot. A shuttle from Sanctuary Events venue will pick you up here and drop you off at your car at the end of the night. The Sanctuary Events shuttle will run from 4:30-5:30p and 9:15-11:30p. The Sanctuary Events shuttle will only take you to and from the parking lot if you are driving yourself.
Are children under 18 invited?
Due to limited numbers, children will not be invited to the wedding unless they are listed on the invitation. If you have questions please contact Jake and Gianna.
Can I bring a date?
If your save the date/invitation was addressed to you and a guest, then yes! Otherwise, we are trying to keep the wedding as an intimate evening between close friends and family.
Is there a dress code?
Semi-formal - fun and colorful is suggested, but not required!
What color are the bridemates dresses?
Bridemates will be wearing whatever they feel more comortable, confident, and beautiful in. We encourage you to do the same because we want everyone feeling their best.
Is there a hotel room block for guests attending the wedding?
Yes, we have reserved rooms for our guests at Fairfield Inn & Suites Joliet North/Plainfield for $119 USD per night

How do I get from the hotel to the venue?
We will be using Spare Wheels shuttle service to transport our guests staying at the hotel to and from the venue. It will run from 4-5:30p and 9:30-11:30p.
Will there be an open bar?
YES. Serving 3 beers, red blend, pinot grigo, moscato, vodka, gin, rum, whiskey, scotch, and tequila.
What food will be served?
Appetizers will be charcuterie board, fried raviolis (Veg), and Smoked Gouda and Caramelized Onion Quesadilla (Veg).
Dinner will by served family style.
Salad will be a hand-picked baby field greens served with balsamic and raspberry vinaigrettes on sides (GF) (V) (DF).
Rolls will be traditional rolls (V), garlic (Veg), and croissant (Veg).
Entrees choices are apple glazed roast loin of pork (GF) and baked boneless chicken with rosemary and elephant garlic (GF).
For sides, carrots with fresh dill made with butter (Veg) (GF) and twice baked potato made with sour cream and cheese (Veg) (GF) will be served.
Alternative meal to accommodate dietary restrictions and will be served separately will include stuffed zucchini (V) (GF) (DF), carrots with fresh dill made with plant-based butter (V) (GF) (DF), and twice baked potato made with dairy free sour cream and cheese (V) (GF) (DF).
