Details (Q + A)

Am I invited to the ceremony & reception? or the reception only?

We will be having a smaller, intimate ceremony, and then we will be hosting a larger reception where all are welcome to join us! Please check your invitation for details regarding whether you are invited to the ceremony and reception or the reception only.

What time does each event start, and when should I arrive by?

Please note that the ceremony starts promptly at 2 PM (please arrive by 1:30). To ensure a smooth and timely ceremony, we kindly request that guests arriving late be seated in the cocktail hour area until the ceremony is concluded. Cocktail hour will start at 3 with reception to follow.

Are children invited?

This is an adults-only celebration. Please consider treating this as a date night!

Can I bring a guest/date?

Due to limited capacity we will only be able to accommodate those specifically addressed by name upon RSVP. If you have any questions, don't hesitate to reach out!

What is the dress code?

Formal. We ask that all guests refrain from wearing white, sage green, or black as these are the wedding party colors. Please see the dress code section for more details.

Are the ceremony & reception in the same place?

Yes! Both will take place at 11904 W 133rd Avenue in Cedar Lake, Indiana. However, there are separate ceremony and reception locations on the property. Be sure to look out for signs directing you to each event!

Is the venue indoor or outdoor?

Outdoor! The ceremony, cocktail hour, and reception will all be outdoors. Please plan accordingly.

Will there be an open bar?

Yes! Enjoy an open bar featuring a variety of drinks, and feel free to bring your preferred liquor if you would like! Our bartenders would appreciate cash tips!

Can I take pictures?

We are having an "unplugged" ceremony. This means we are asking that all phones and other devices be put away and on silent/turned off during our ceremony so that all guests can be 100% present with us during this time. After the ceremony, please feel free to take as many photos as you want!
