Their story began in high school, at a lacrosse fundraiser where fate seemed to have a sense of humor. Gideon and Alyssa had seen each other around before, but it was at this event that they officially met—when Gideon tried to sell Alyssa the same fundraiser cards she was trying to sell. A few days later, Gideon reached out to Alyssa on Instagram, and that night, after hours of conversation, a friendship was born. Over the next few months, their bond deepened, and on June 8, 2018, Gideon asked Alyssa to be his girlfriend.

Throughout the years, they have shared countless laughs, smiles, and unforgettable memories. From milestones to everyday moments, their journey together has been filled with joy and growth.

On February 10, 2024, Gideon and Alyssa went to a photoshoot, a thoughtful gift from Gideon that would become even more special. During the session, the photographer asked Alyssa to turn around. When she turned back, Gideon was down on one knee, ready to ask her the most important question of their lives: to marry him.
