Our Wedding

Here’s a brief recap of our story … told by both of us, but from Gillian’s point of view. Our love story began at the Arizona State pool during the summer of 2016. I have lived in Arizona my whole life, but Grant had just moved here from Indiana. We were both enrolled at ASU and were members of the swim team. Those first few months we bonded over very long practice hours in the pool, waking up at 4 AM for practice, and spending late nights at study hall. Some of my favorite early memories together were traveling for swim meets and going to football games. We became an official couple just about 4 months after we met, in October 2016. Our first trip together was to Disneyland for my birthday in November of 2016. I have always loved Disney, and thankfully Grant quickly shared that love too. Since that first visit, we have been back to Disney at least once yearly. As many of you know, Grant proposed in Disneyworld last January. Disney vacations will continue to have very special memories for us. During the pandemic, Grant and I got a mini-golden doodle named Harper. She brings us so much love and joy, and we can’t imagine life without her. Currently Grant is working for Amazon in a position that allows him to work from home. This makes Harper very happy! I am a nurse at Mayo Clinic Hospital and am anxiously awaiting moving OFF the night shift. We are very thankful to all of our friends and family who have been a part of our lives and cannot wait for you to share our special day with us!
