You've got questions, we might have answers.

Where is the wedding?

We are generously being hosted at the beautiful home and estate of Tom and Anna Boatright, near Black Lake in Olympia, WA. Please see invite for official address or text either Gillian or Kyle for more info on how to get there.

Is the ceremony and reception at the same venue?

Yes. Easy-peasy.

Will there be parking?

Yes. There is plenty of parking available. We will have a clearly marked parking area when you arrive and signs to guide you there. We ask that you only park where designated and respect the space of the other people living in the complex. If for mobility reasons you need to park closer to the venue, please let us know and we can work to accommodate you.

Is the wedding outside?

Yes. This is very much a Garden Wedding. With all our fingers and toes crossed, we will be able to hold both the ceremony and reception completely outside and uncovered. But as this is Washington, please prepare for any possibility. If the weather is looking a little moist, we will rent a tent or move indoors where possible, and plan to keep you updated closer to the event. In any case, please wear sunscreen, bring layers for the evening, and keep yourself well hydrated throughout the day.

Can I take photos during the ceremony?

Besides a singular moment where we will invite you to take a photo, we kindly as that you silence and put away your phones and cameras during the ceremony. We want you to be present in the moment with us as we make a mess out of ourselves crying. There will be a professional photographer capturing the ceremony for us, and us crying, in extra HD so you'll be able to really share those details with your family and friends later. Other than the ceremony, yes! Please feel free to take as many photos and videos as you like. We may or may not have a photo sharing app thing for everyone to compile onto but IDK, there's a lot of other decisions we need to make first lol.

Will there be an open bar?

Duh. TBD. But we will have plenty of NA options available as well.

What is for dinner?

We are still in the process of figuring out which caterers we will be working with, but we plan to have a variety of food options available to fit people's palates and sensitivities/preferences.

Are kiddos invited?

Yes. This is a very familia event and we will not only have our daughter running around, we'd love to have your kids running around too. We also plan to have some kid approved food for dinner as well. That being said, we do have some requests. Please let us know when you RSVP if your child/children will be attending so we can accurately plan. If during the ceremony your child gets unsettled, please move to an area where they can center themselves. We plan to transition to adults only after 9:30PM.

Where should I stay?

We highly recommend looking into Airbnb or VRBO options in the surrounding area. If you want to stay at a hotel, we recommend the Double Tree in downtown Olympia.

How do I get to the venue?

We recommend driving or Uber to get to the venue.

What time should I arrive?

We are still in process of figuring out exact details for the day of schedule, but we do plan to have it in the later afternoon/evening.

When and how do I RSVP?

As soon as possible but no later that BLAH. Please RSVP directly to the link here:

Can I bring a plus one?

Since we want to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, we're only inviting our closest loved ones.

What should I wear?

Semi-formal garden party attire.

What shoes should I wear?

As we will be outside and traveling on both grass and gravel, we strongly recommend against stilettos.

I'm stuck in Olympia, what do I do now?
