WAIT, AREN'T YOU ALREADY MARRIED?

Yes! We just couldn't wait to get married, so we had a small ceremony in Seattle, our new home, in August 2025. However, we cannot wait to celebrate with all of you in Kansas City.

Our Wedding

We met freshman year of college in Omaha and started dating the following year, after a year of study sessions, and late-night chats. Since then, we’ve graduated, lived in Kansas City and Minneapolis, did long distance, and finally settled in Seattle in the summer of 2024. We tied the knot on August 15, 2025 in small ceremony, but we can't wait to celebrate with all of you!

GETTING TO KANSAS CITYThe closest airport is Kansas City International Airport (MCI), located about 25 minutes north of downtown and Boulevard Brewing Company. From the airport by car: Rideshare (Uber/Lyft) and taxis are readily available at MCI. A one-way trip to downtown or the brewery area typically takes 25–30 minutes.Rental cars: All major rental agencies operate out of the new consolidated rental car facility at MCI.Shuttles &amp; transit: MCI does not have direct light rail or train service, but several private shuttle services run between the airport and downtown hotels. GETTING TO THE RECEPTIONThe reception will be held at Boulevard Brewing - 2501 Southwest Boulevard, Kansas City, MO 64108. Parking is available on site for guests, and there are several bus routes that run from downtown to the brewery. Rideshare is also a quick option. WHERE TO STAYWe recommend booking a hotel in or near downtown Kansas City to be close to the brewery, restaurants, and nightlife. Other Kansas City areas that are reasonably close include Midtown and the Plaza. Travel

After years in Kansas City, we know there's more than enough to fill a weekend trip. Here are some of our favorite places to eat, drink and play in KC.

KC deserves its laurels for barbeque, and Joe's and Q39 are worth checking out. For great sandwiches we recommend King G deli and Jim's bar.For something a little fancier or for smaller groups, we love The Campground and La Bodega. On your way out of town Sunday, consider a brunch stop at Happy Gillis.

DRINK

Downtown, we like to go to Tom's Town Distillery, J. Rieger, and Casual Animal Brewing. The Green Lady Lounge has live music every night as well. A little further out, we recommend any of the Peanut locations, Austin's and Sail Away.

PLAY

The Overland Park Farmer's Market (Saturdays) and the River Market are both nice for a walk and a bite. Kansas City also has a number of fantastic museums, standouts include the Nelson-Atkins Museum of Art, the World War I Museum &amp; Memorial, and the Negro Leagues Baseball Museum.
