September in the mountains is probably the closest you'll get to heaven...It can be anywhere between 60-80 degrees during the day and chilly in the mornings and night (typically).

Our vision is for you to wear something eccentric and colorful, you know, like that one fancy and insane outfit that your purchased but could never figure out where to wear it to? This is it! Also, fun hats and accessories are both welcomed and desired, as it will likely be sunny at the ceremony site!

This is a VERY important factor to consider before your trip. Granby Colorado has an elevation of 7993' and the ceremony is at 9202'. It is highly recommended that you HYDRATE more than you would on a regular basis. Alkaline water is also helpful at altitude. We are not doctors....but what has been our general rule of thumb in the past is to take aspirin to help with thinning your blood once a day a week before and throughout your trip, and ginkgo biloba which aids in the flow of oxygen through your blood. Take it or leave it (and leave it especially if you have allergies to either!) but this has helped us in the past when travelling from sea level. Lastly, you can buy oxygen canisters pretty much anywhere so we recommend, if you think you might want some, definitely get some!
