Our Wedding

TT and Gina met when he filled in on her coed softball team in 2020. Thanks to his baserunning and diving catches in the outfield, he was added to the roster before he had a chance to say no. They quickly bonded over their shared love of softball, craft beer, and dogs. The moment that really sealed the deal for TT was during a tournament where he went up to Gina, handed her a Gatorade and said "I got you this.", feeling like she needed to give him something in return, Gina handed him a fly she had just squished between her fingers and said, "I got you a dead bug."

Two years later, TT managed to get Gina to help plan her own proposal without even knowing it. Huge thanks to the Best Man, Dan, for making the day happen. Dan asked Gina if she wanted to have a surprise birthday party at his house for TT the weekend following his birthday. Thinking nothing of it, Gina started inviting people, asking everyone to bring food and coordinating the best time for the "surprise". It wasn't until she went to bring his birthday cake out that the real surprise happened. TT stood in the middle of the yard as Gina walked over to him with the cake while everyone sang happy birthday. The singing faded out as she got close to him and their song, Luke Combs' "Beautiful Crazy", started playing.

Once she got to him, he said, "I know you thought that this was a surprise for me, but it's actually a surprise for you.". He got down on one knee and all he could get out was, "Would you do me the honor?" before Gina responded with "Of course!!" and starting bawling.

Everyone broke out into cheers and excitement now that the real surprise had been revealed.
