Some love stories begin with a spark—ours began with crayons, recess, and a really great second-grade teacher!

We met as kids in elementary school at Bell Shoals Baptist Academy, with Will's grandma (Mrs. Richard's) as the Bride's second grade teacher (also her favorite teacher!). Back then, we were just classmates sharing snacks and playground adventures, completely unaware that God was already weaving our paths together for something much bigger down the road...

Life took us in completely different directions, and we stayed unconnected for over 10 years—no texts, no updates, nothing at all. But in His perfect timing, God brought us together when we least expected it. What started as a simple reconnection quickly turned into something that felt so natural and meant to be.

We know now that every step, every detour, and every year apart was part of God’s bigger plan. From second-grade to lifelong partners, we’re beyond grateful for this journey—and can’t wait to celebrate His blessings with all of you soon!
