Our Wedding

Who knew one pumpkin and a college fraternity date night would have led to us getting married? The date night was on a Thursday night. Gina had a presentation at 8:30 the next morning, so she was hesitant to say yes. After all of her friends said to just go, she did. Gina avoided David most of the night because she was afraid that if they actually hung out she would fall for him. After David called her out on avoiding him, she gave in and talked with him until 4:30 in the morning. That was when she knew he was the one. Somehow, she still gave her presentation at 8:30 the next morning and regretted nothing about being out so late with David the night before. From that moment on, we were attached at the hip. We did absolutely everything together from studying in the library, to eating lunch in the SAB office, texting all day and attending every event on campus and every subsequent date night together. Even though we didn't start dating officially until July 15, 2016, Gina knew in May of 2016 she loved David. When a few of her friends questioned how serious the relationship was, she said "you don't understand, I am going to marry him". David told Gina he loved her for the first time on the beach in August of 2016. It all came full circle nearly 7 years later when he asked her to be his wife on the beach, the same place he expressed his love for the first time. Having each other to lean on throughout our relationship has made all the difference. We have never once questioned each other's loyalty or dedication to the relationship. We have consistently shown up to support one another. Everything about being together is fun and easy. We have grown together through college, post college and through every challenge that has been thrown our way so far. Everyday we are grateful for that one date night in 2015, and we are so excited to spend the rest of our lives continuing to support and love one another unconditionally.
