She says:

Our story began in 2011 at AT&T in the Office of the President. I was working in the Little Rock, AR (LROOP) Office, and he was working in the Ocean Springs, MS (OSOOP) Office. He was a case manager, and I was a letter writer.

Our paths first crossed when the letter writers started writing responses for all consumer offices; previously each office had its own letter writer. For about a year, I frequently got his cases and constantly sent them back for corrections. I had begun to loathe his very existence, and he wasn't too fond of me either. Lol!

One day, my work sister (Barnett) asked me if I had seen his Q Photo (IYKYK), and after some back and forth with her, I decided to look at his picture... and the rest, ladies and gentlemen... as they say it's HIStory!!!

He says:

As for my side of the story... it begins the same but my involvement increased after she saw my oh so handsome work profile pic. LOL. I can honestly say after that she was much nicer to me and took the time to find out why we were butting heads. Come to find out, it was due to a misunderstanding/

miscommunication for the job requirements and duties. Once our collective light bulbs turned on about this, it was time to get this thing moving.

We say:

We eventually exchanged numbers in April 2013 (talking just about every day) and finally met for the first time in person in June 2014 when he accompanied me to my cousin's wedding.

Fast forward three years of back and forth visits to AR and MS, and I decided to move to Biloxi, MS, in 2017 (to see if I really liked him or whatever - LOL). Here's a little unknown fact: We were actually broken up when I moved and didn't get back together until 2018. Life threw us a couple of curve balls in 2019 and 2020, but we found our way back together in late 2021. It's only been up from there!

We have learned a lot and grown extensively both separately and together. Now that we are here, we know it was all worth it! We are ready to begin the next chapter of our story and invite you on the journey with us!
