You know the band Boston had it right singing "dancing down the streets of Hyannis." For anyone who hasn't been, walking down Main Street is a favorite passtime of Cape Codders young and old. You'll find endless restaurants, the JFK Museum, stores for souvenirs, ice cream and candy, you name it! Check out one of Gina's favorite restaurants Anejo, where you can sit outside below a 200 year old beech tree sipping margaritas and eating fish tacos to your hearts content.
Spacious beach with excellent sunset views.
Want to know where the best ice cream is on the happy side of the bridge? Look no further than Four Seas Ice Cream. This cash-only hut in Centerville has always hired high school students, who are required to do all the math the old-fashioned way. Favorite flavors of the McLellan and Gordon clans include chip chocolate, coffee, Penuche Pecan, and Mint chip (don't be alarmed, it's pink!)
Looking for something a little more quiet than downtown Hyannis? Hop on over to it's slightly more pricy and bougie neighbor, Osterville. Cute stores and boutiques for the particularly stylish individual, and it's a short walk away from the wedding reception location at the Wianno Yacht Club. Take a walk or a drive down Bridge Street to Crosby Neck Marina (the namesake of the cutest dog ever) and grab a bite to eat or a cocktail at the Chart Room.
Looking to explore some of the best nature the Cape has to offer? Cape Cod partners with Audubon Wildlife Sanctuaries for the innumerable sea and coastal wildlife. Check out their website below for regional excursions nearby. We recommend staying in the Barnstable, Dennis, and Mashpee areas if you don't want to drive too far.
