Kevin and Gina met in 2018 while they were both resident artists for Tri-Cities Opera. They started out as coworkers and then turned into best friends. Fast forward to December 2019 they were in NYC for audition season. On December 3, 2019, Gina had a not so stellar audition so Kevin tried to cheer her up and said "let’s go get some dinner". They went to a restaurant called The Park Diner. When the check came, Kevin said, I’ll pay. Gina frantically texting her friends asking “what should I do?!? Is this a date?” In which they recommended to offer to pay for the tip! And that is what Gina did. It wasn’t until a few weeks later that Gina found out that was indeed a date and to this day will say that was the best date of her life.

On June 23,2023 Kevin took Gina on her surprise birthday trip. She quickly found out that they were headed to the finger lakes as they began their drive! They did wine tastings and had a lovely dinner. Kevin rented them a cabin on Seneca Lake and at Sunset on the private dock, Kevin proposed to Gina. Gina said yes and now the two of them can’t wait to share their special day with you!
