David and Ginger met in Austin, Texas in 2017. David had just moved from Ohio to start his career after college. Ginger was still in school finishing her nursing degree. David not knowing many people in Texas and Ginger going to school with mostly women; both resorted to dating apps and swiped right on each other!

Their first date was during Hurricane Harvey, so a lot of businesses were closed. David really wanted to meet Ginger so he suggested pizza and wine at his place. As a college student, Ginger was willing to drive for pizza, wine and a cute guy even during a hurricane. The two instantly connected and started their journey.

Ginger started travel nursing in 2022 and took a contract in Phoenix, Arizona. David works from home selling software tech, so he was able to pack his bags and join her. Lady (our dog) packed her kibble and water bowl to prepare for the Phoenix summer. The two planned a short road trip to explore some of the beautiful sites in Arizona and Utah. David dropped down to one knee on a private tour in Antelope Canyon and asked Ginger to be his wife on August 7th, 2022. Ginger said yes so quickly.

The two said their goodbye's to Austin and moved to Cleveland, Ohio in December of 2022. David's parents graciously let them move into their basement until Ginger and David found a house. Ginger and David found a perfect home in Lakewood, OH that's walking distance to many restaurants and parks. The house has enough space for a future growing family. They are enjoying exploring the new city.
