Jake and Ginna met and fell in love during their freshman year at James Madison University in 2021. After a football game, Ginna was invited to a small gathering by a friend from her hometown, who, by coincidence, was Jake’s random suitemate. The two connected instantly, sharing laughs and conversation throughout the night. Shortly after, Ginna had to return home due to COVID-19 restrictions, but they kept in touch through Snapchat. When she finally came back to campus, they began spending time together in person, and their bond continued to grow. They shared their first kiss on September 18th 2021.

They started dating on September 25, 2021

In July to August Ginna studied abroad in York, England. They missed each other so much this being the longest time they spent apart. After she got back Jake proposed to her on the beach at the North End of Virginia Beach while she was looking at a flying fish.

They will be getting married at the Gala 417 in Virginia Beach, VA on July 11, 2025.
