On December 4, 2021, Ginny and her girl friends went out to a line dancing bar for a night of fun away from the chaos of college. The neon lights and lively country music created a space that was exciting and nerve-racking for someone as quiet and reserved as Gin. Little did she know, this night and this place would change her life forever.

Gin and her girls are having the time of their lives, focused on each other and the memories being made. As the night went on, the dance floor became a mosh pit of college students and surprisingly, older folks who just wanted to have a good time (love it). Gin is in the middle of the dance floor, looking over her shoulder at her friend trying to follow their moves to the song, when she feels a touch on her shoulder. She looks forward and mirroring her is a tall, handsome, blue eyed man named Josh. At that moment, it was as if they were the only two on the dance floor.

Josh helps Gin finish the song, laughing yet encouraging her until she gets her rhythm back. They talked, they danced, and even had a Waffle House date at 2 am because they didn’t want to part ways. Their connection was undeniable, and from that night on, destiny played its hand. Even though they faced the challenge of a long-distance relationship - Gin in college and Josh working various jobs - they made it work. The week nights were full of facetimes, the weekends were full of spontaneous trips, and last summer turned into a lifetime together.

After 2 years of friendship and 1 year of love, Josh “couldn’t wait any longer” to make Gin his forever. As the sun set behind the Colorado mountains, he got down on one knee and proposed.
