Our Wedding

In&nbsp;December&nbsp;2018,&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;got&nbsp;a&nbsp;part-time&nbsp;job&nbsp;at&nbsp;her&nbsp;university&nbsp;mail&nbsp;room&nbsp;and&nbsp;met&nbsp;Jessica.&nbsp;The&nbsp;two&nbsp;became&nbsp;inseparable,&nbsp;and&nbsp;before&nbsp;long,&nbsp;were&nbsp;roommates.&nbsp;In&nbsp;July&nbsp;2019,&nbsp;Jessica&nbsp;invited&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;to&nbsp;accompany&nbsp;her&nbsp;to&nbsp;a&nbsp;family&nbsp;reunion.&nbsp;It&nbsp;was&nbsp;there&nbsp;that&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;was&nbsp;introduced&nbsp;to&nbsp;Jessica's&nbsp;cousin,&nbsp;Loren.&nbsp; Over&nbsp;the&nbsp;next&nbsp;four&nbsp;years,&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;were&nbsp;friendly&nbsp;when&nbsp;their&nbsp;paths&nbsp;crossed&nbsp;at&nbsp;family&nbsp;events,&nbsp;but&nbsp;they&nbsp;never&nbsp;forged&nbsp;a&nbsp;deep&nbsp;bond.&nbsp;Several&nbsp;years&nbsp;later,&nbsp;after&nbsp;reconnecting&nbsp;at&nbsp;a&nbsp;Halloween&nbsp;party,&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;joined&nbsp;the&nbsp;same&nbsp;weekly&nbsp;Dungeons&nbsp;and&nbsp;Dragons&nbsp;group.&nbsp;As&nbsp;they&nbsp;role&nbsp;played&nbsp;together&nbsp;each&nbsp;weekend,&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;discovered&nbsp;they&nbsp;had&nbsp;fantastic&nbsp;chemistry.&nbsp;Conversation&nbsp;flowed&nbsp;effortlessly,&nbsp;and&nbsp;they&nbsp;constantly&nbsp;made&nbsp;each&nbsp;other&nbsp;laugh.&nbsp;A&nbsp;true&nbsp;friendship&nbsp;blossomed&nbsp;between&nbsp;them. After&nbsp;six&nbsp;months&nbsp;of&nbsp;growing&nbsp;closer&nbsp;through&nbsp;D&D,&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;finally&nbsp;mustered&nbsp;up&nbsp;the&nbsp;courage&nbsp;to&nbsp;ask&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;on&nbsp;a&nbsp;real&nbsp;date&nbsp;outside&nbsp;of&nbsp;game&nbsp;night.&nbsp;To&nbsp;her&nbsp;delight,&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;enthusiastically&nbsp;agreed.&nbsp;The&nbsp;date&nbsp;confirmed&nbsp;what&nbsp;they&nbsp;both&nbsp;secretly&nbsp;hoped&nbsp;-&nbsp;that&nbsp;the&nbsp;magic&nbsp;between&nbsp;them&nbsp;went&nbsp;beyond&nbsp;friendship.&nbsp;More&nbsp;dates&nbsp;followed,&nbsp;and&nbsp;soon&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loren&nbsp;were&nbsp;officially&nbsp;a&nbsp;couple.&nbsp;They&nbsp;continued&nbsp;playing&nbsp;D&D&nbsp;together,&nbsp;but&nbsp;now&nbsp;there&nbsp;was&nbsp;a&nbsp;new&nbsp;romantic&nbsp;dynamic&nbsp;between&nbsp;them.&nbsp;Their&nbsp;connection&nbsp;deepened&nbsp;over&nbsp;the&nbsp;following&nbsp;months. Though&nbsp;their&nbsp;relationship&nbsp;was&nbsp;years&nbsp;in&nbsp;the&nbsp;making,&nbsp;divine&nbsp;timing&nbsp;fanned&nbsp;the&nbsp;flames&nbsp;of&nbsp;romance&nbsp;and&nbsp;revealed&nbsp;a&nbsp;perfect&nbsp;match.&nbsp;Giorgia&nbsp;and&nbsp;Loren's&nbsp;love&nbsp;story&nbsp;proves&nbsp;that&nbsp;your&nbsp;soulmate&nbsp;may&nbsp;enter&nbsp;your&nbsp;orbit&nbsp;when&nbsp;you&nbsp;least&nbsp;expect&nbsp;it!

Liz Hicks - Maid Of Honor
 
Liz and Giorgia first crossed paths when they were just nine years old. Though they were practically strangers, some childish disagreement led them to dramatically declare themselves mortal enemies for life. For the next five years, they avoided each other as much as possible, trading icy glares across the classroom and sticking out their tongues whenever they passed in the hall. But, when Liz and Giorgia started high school, they found themselves paired up in choir. At first they begrudgingly worked together, but over time they realized they actually had a lot in common. Their childhood feud seemed silly and insignificant compared to their shared love of books and sense of humor. Over the next four years, this new friendship blossomed into an incredibly close bond. Liz and Giorgia became inseparable, spending every weekend together, confiding their deepest secrets, and sharing book after book. Now at 24 and 25, their friendship is stronger than ever. So it's no surprise that when Giorgia got engaged, she immediately asked Liz to be her maid of honor.

Belle Yesilyprak - Matron of Honor
 
Giorgia and Belle have always shared an unbreakable bond as sisters and best friends. Growing up, they were inseparable - dressing up together, having imaginary tea parties, and confiding their deepest secrets late into the night during sleepovers in one another's rooms. Now, as adults, their sisterly love has only grown deeper. Giorgia was ecstatic when Belle enthusiastically agreed to stand by her side as matron of honor at her upcoming wedding.

Alex Hernandez - Best Man
 
Loren and Alex are cousins who have always been incredibly close - the kind of cousins who insist on sitting next to each other at every family gathering and who always want to pair up for games and activities. It's no surprise then that when Loren started planning his wedding, there was no question that Alex would stand right by his side as best man. At the wedding, you can be sure that Alex's speech will have the audience roaring with laughter one minute and tearing up the next as he recounts all of the special memories he and Loren have made over the years.

Michael Pugh - Officiant
 
Michael, Giorgia's uncle, holds a special place in their family not just as a beloved relative but also as an integral figure in the wedding. His deep connection with Giorgia and profound understanding of her journey to this day make him the perfect person to officiate the wedding. With a personality that blends warmth, joy, and humor, Michael is set to enrich the ceremony with personal anecdotes and heartfelt advice, ensuring that the essence of Loren and Giorgia's relationship shines through.

Heather Romines - Mother of the Groom
 
Loren grew up as an only child with his mother Heather. From an early age, he and Heather formed an especially close bond as they navigated life's challenges and joys together. As Loren grew into a thoughtful, driven young man, Heather was always there cheering him on at every milestone. Now, on the most important day of Loren's life so far, his wedding day, Heather stands proudly by his side as he prepares to marry the love of his life.

Sh&#227; King - Mother of the Bride
 
Sh&#227; has been an integral part of her daughter's life, guiding and supporting her every step of the way. As Giorgia prepares to embark on the next chapter of her life - her marriage - Sh&#227;'s role becomes even more significant. With a lifetime of wisdom and experience to draw from, Sh&#227; has been there to offer Giorgia invaluable advice on the complexities of relationships, the joys and challenges of building a life with a partner. Their bond is one of deep affection and trust, forged through years of laughter, tears, and everything in between. Though the roles may shift as Giorgia becomes a wife, the unbreakable mother-daughter connection between them will remain a constant source of strength, comfort and joy for them both.

Cheilla Stone - Giver of the Bride
 
Giorgia and her Aunt Cheilla share an extraordinary bond that extends beyond their family ties. They are remarkably alike, in almost everything they do to the extent that they even have matching tattoos. During Giorgia's teenage years, they chose a personal and heartfelt way to communicate by writing letters to each other. These letters, filled with dreams, advice, and unconditional support, became a treasure trove of memories that strengthened their bond. It's no surprise then that when it comes to one of the most significant days in Giorgia's life, her wedding day, it is Cheilla who will have the honor of walking her down the aisle, underlining her role not just as an aunt but as a mentor, confidante, and best friend.

Russ Romines - Ring Bearer
 
Papaw Russ will take on the cherished role of ring bearer at the upcoming nuptials. His presence as the guardian of the bands symbolizes the enduring love and legacy that he has passed down through generations. As the rings are exchanged, PaPaw Russ's presence will be a testament to the enduring legacy he has built, and the love that will continue to blossom within the family for generations to come.

Faik Yesilyprak - Petal Person
 
Faik, Giorgia's brother-in-law, has been given a singularly charming role &#8211; that of the petal person, a title that brings smiles and a touch of whimsy to the traditional ceremony. Faik will grace the aisle with a flourish of flower petals. His acceptance to partake in such a role highlights his fun-loving nature and his willingness to support Giorgia and Loren in making their day as memorable as possible.

We are kindly asking that guests dress in semi-formal attire for this event. Some option include a suit, a nice button down with slacks, a dress knee length or longer, and nice shoes. We are so excited to dress up and celebrate and would love for you to join us in that! If you have any questions, please contact one of us!

We're Irish! Loren's last name, Aldridge, originates from Ireland! Below we've included the name's origin information and his family crest! And, while Giorgia was born into a German family name, through ancestry and DNA testing, she has traced her roots back to Ireland as well!

We will be flying through American Airlines from DFW to Dublin. We will have a 9 hour layover in Philadelphia. Then we will fly from Philly to Dublin arriving the next day!

We will be renting a car and road tripping around southern Ireland! Staying one night in each town, we have 19 planned stops! Below is a picture of our roadmap and itinerary!

For our final stop, we will spend the night in Drummond tower in Drogheda (30 minutes north of Dublin) built as a Folly Tower in the victorian period in 1858 by William Drummond Delap as part of Monasterboice House &amp; Demesne. It was built&nbsp; in remembrance of his late mother. Below are a few pictures of the property.

In the event we cant make it to Ireland, we'll be honeymooning somewhere is the U.S. (We just have no idea where yet) 
We know we want to stay in a cabin somewhere near mountains, but close to a body of water like a lake. Who knows where we'll end up, but we'll take you along the journey with us!
