From experience, the individual Villa addresses can at times take your a tad too far south. We've added some photos for reference in the photos section.

-Milan (MXP) will be closest airport. We believe the easiest way to arrive at the Villas will be by rental car, that being said:

- If you choose to rent car, the drive is approximately 45min-1hr from MXP airport. Parking will be available, again just let us know if you choose to rent. Driving is very easy. Yes, Italians do drive on the same side as we do here in the U.S. Among the rental companies that are present at the airport are AVIS, Enterprise, and National.

- There are two train stops in Como. Como Lago and Como San Giovanni. Como Lago is directly in the heart of downtown and Como San Giovanni is just 10 minutes away. Public transportation (specifically train) is great to get you to the town of Como, yet you will still have to manage getting to the Villas from the station which are about 20 minutes from downtown como.

-If you decide not to get a rental car, we think a solid option from the airport or train station will be a taxi. This will also help you to avoid lugging around bags as much as possible. We’ve gathered a couple options for taxis below:

-If coming from MXP, Yellowcab taxi is outside of Malpensa airport. Always pick a taxi from the official taxi stands. The taxi ride will be charged by a taximeter, as there is no flat rate for that trip. The trip will take approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes. A windscreen sticker displaying "Taxi autorizzato per il servizio aeroportuale lombardo" shows that your taxi is a licensed one and that its meter is adjusted for this transfer. Your taxi ride will be charged by a taximeter, depending on the exact location of your destination. There might be additional costs from late-night driving or driving on public holidays. However, the estimated cost of the journey amounts to 91€. You can always check if taxi companies offer a fixed price if you book your trip in advance.

-If arriving by train, Radio Taxi Como https://www.radiotaxicomo.com will be accessible by either station. There website has a list of stands around the city and they offer booking in advance.

-www.welcomepickups.com : This seems to be the most efficient car service to get to and from Milan airport. The ability to book in advance is convenient. The cost of this service varies in price due to a couple factors i.e luggage, number of people traveling. For 2 people and both carrying lug the cost came out to 109 Euros.

-http://www.limousineitaly.com : Also another good option for pickup from Milan airport.

-Uber : Ubering is only available traveling FROM MXP airport. The prices seemed a bit steep sitting at around 185 Euros to both villas.
